Outland Arts Insider News letter issue

December 16th 2016
Happy Holidays, Epochians!
I hope you've
all had a great fall and are
staying warm out there. The
arctic chill has settled upon us
here in my part of the world.
Man, I don't recall it being
this cold for this many days
straight before... maybe I'm
just getting old?
Anyhow, this newsletter is
long overdue. I've been
extremely busy working on the
Expansion Rules and the new
Quick Start Rules plus
included adventure Muddy
Mayhem! Consider this
introduction rules set and
module as our Christmas Gift to
you and our way of saying
thank you for your support,
and for your patience while you
wait for the Expansion Rules and
the Season One Mutant Epoch
novel series.
I know that most of you
reading this already have the
TME hub rules, but this free PDF
includes a wicked 42 page
adventure that is also for those
playing the full version of the
game. Likewise, there are
Rules Only variants of this
book, including a screen use PDF
for your tablet or laptop and a
grayscale printer friendlier
edition that you can freely
print off or send to all your
gamer associates to give them a
glimpse of The Mutant Epoch RPG
and setting.
Lets dig in....
The Mutant Epoch RPG Quick Start Rules
have arrived!
Dive
into post-apocalyptic adventure with the
Mutant Epoch Quick Start Rules!
Gritty, gonzo and
fast paced, The Mutant Epoch
role-playing game uses the Outland
System game mechanic to give life to a
vibrant, well supported and growing game
and fiction universe! You're one click
away from jumping into a twisted, ruin
and freak infested world. Welcome to the
year 2364 AD.
This is it, the long overdue
introductory kit to TME RPG. Everything
you need to start playing is now
available in a free PDF, including a 42
page, low rank adventure called Muddy
Mayhem. Also included are two rules only
versions of this QSR book for your
players; a fully linked color PDF for
use on a tablet or computer, and a
printer friendly grayscale version. Also
included in the download are the handy
reference sheets, character sheet,
player handouts, Maps and eight pre-gen
QSR crafted player characters. These
extras and book variants are also
available at our website here.
Additionally, for those of you who love
a real book at your table, we've made a
print edition available for sale for
$15.99 usd.
We've presented 96 illustrations
from the original hub rules book, 4 inks
and 2 maps from the Crossroads
Gazetteer, and produced 49 all new
illustrations, a cover image, 3 player
handouts and 5 maps for the included low
rank, yet highly challenging adventure
Muddy Mayhem.
You can grab the PDF for free
at
drivethrurpg.com, as well as at
our gumroad.com site where if you
want to convert this book into a Pay
What You Want, donation offering,
you can do so
here.
The print version is available at
Amazon.com, and
lulu.com too
Enjoy,
WM
Okay
that's it for this issue. Look forward
to fairly steady newsletters in the
months ahead as we reveal sketches and
news on the next book, the long awaited
Expansion Rules book.
Have a great Holiday season, stock up on
emergency supplies and stay safe out
there folks!
