In
other news from the Outland Arts studio,
we press on with the layout and interior
art for the Crossroads Region Gazetteer.
This is a monster book which we can
already see will weigh in at over 300
pages.
In addition, we are determined to try
and release a product for The Mutant
Epoch every month. We know this will cut
into the release schedule of the large
sourcebooks and adventures, but there
are a lot of cool smaller supplements
and adventures that just need to get
into the hands of TME fans.
Coming next are the first of many sets
of 28mm post-apocalyptic paper
miniatures. You can check out a full
size page from the
TME
sketchbook at the bottom of this page.
Sightings
Future Is Wild : Welcome To The
Future: Let’s meet such bizarre,
futuristic creatures as shag rats, snow
stalkers, gannet whales, rattle backs,
ocean glider, toritauns, lurk fish, and
the deadly swampus. In this series of
youtube videos any GM worth his or her
salt will easily pick up some ideas for
new creatures to throw at their players.

The Silent City - Episode 01: A
Fractured World. Although
sort, the first webisode of this long
awaited indie film is out. There is
something about the Silent City series
that has me really excited. While it
doesn’t involve mutants, cyborgs, robots
and stuff like that, and is more of a
survivalist tale, I still really like
what I see and so feel I should share it
here in the newsletter.

Tetsubo57’s has
just released a review of Pitford:
Gateway to the Ruins
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHlDCag_thE&feature=plcp
I think he makes some strong
arguments with regards to weed, water
and wages, and I address these in the
SOE member’s forums. Still, his concerns
about the water needs of Pitford are
excellent and highlight the very tenuous
hold the ruin side fortress has in the
area, and all it would take to remove
the enclosed town would be to cut off
the wagon caravans from the south.
Clearly, adventure scenarios involving
the flow of precious resources are
plentiful. Thanks Tetsubo57!
Artist Spotlight
Holy crow, you
gotta check out this guy’s work. Kemp
Remillard of San Francisco is one of the
Massive Black artists. So much of his
work is concept art featuring arms,
armor and vehicles that are perfect for
ideas for new game master created
relics. Makes me feel like a total
beginner.
